• All goats come from CAE, CL, and Johne's free herds, and have been tested negative for CAE, CL, Johne's, Brucellosis, and Q Fever.
  • See the latest test results here.
• All breeding kids will be DNA tested prior to leaving the farm.
• Preference for breeding animals is given to performance herds that regularly participate in shows, LA, and DHIA programs.
• Planned breedings are tentative. Pairings are subject to change, and wait list will be notified if this occurs.
• Cascade Valley reserves the right to retain any kids from any given breedings.
• Wait list for designated pairings is free.
• Waitlist available for wethers and they are $150 each. Since goats love having friends, you must have another goat of similar age, or purchase a pair. Reserved wethers are to be picked up/transported at 1 month old on a bottle.
• $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve kids within 2 weeks of being born.
• Balance of purchase price is due prior to the goat leaving the farm.
• Transport and associated veterinary costs are the responsibility of the buyer (Health certificate is ~$110 from my local vet, Sacramento International is our closest airport).
• Health is not guaranteed once the purchased goat leaves the property.
